FAR's photo competition is back!

We all know that arable farms, crops and families are exciting, interesting and important. Now is your chance to help convince the rest of New Zealand. We’re looking for some ‘real’, ‘farm based’ photos we can use to promote all the good stuff we grow and do, and we think that you are the best people to take them. We want to show the diversity of the crops we grow, for the promotion of the general arable industry. It is not meant to be a competition which addresses any technical aspects of your growing programme, or harvest techniques.

We have 5 award sections for you to enter (some may fit into more than one!):

  • The Growing Crop
  • Your Way Of Showcasing NZ Arable (Providing products for NZ, supplying to bakeries etc.)
  • Birds Eye View (drone images)
  • Technology in Action
  • Animals in the arable system

The winner of each section will receive a $100 Prezzy Card voucher and the Supreme winner will take home a Weber Baby Q 1000!

HOW TO ENTER

  1. Photos need to be high resolution (minimum 2MB) and either in JPEG or PNG format. Only “still” photos will be accepted – so please don’t send us video images.
  2. Submit your entry by attaching photo(s) to an email and send to admin@far.org.nz
  3. Please include photo details such as – who, what, where, as well as your own contact details including: full name, address and contact phone number. Please also specify the crop/s in the images you send us.

If you are unsure how to send these photos, please get in touch with us at admin@far.org.nz .

CONDITIONS OF ENTRY

  • You can enter as many times as you like. Open to all ages.
  • All entries must be received by 5pm on Friday 25 April 2025.
  • Winners will be notified within 14 days.
  • Upon entry, ownership of copyright for all submitted photos will be transferred to FAR.
  • By submitting your entry, you acknowledge that you have read, understood and accepted the Terms & Conditions that apply to participating in the photo competition.

This competition is no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with Facebook, Twitter, Weber® or Prezzy® Card.
