FAR’s arable industry extension programme, Growers Leading Change (GLC) is looking for a Southland based facilitator to join our team.
Growers Leading Change facilitators form, lead and support local and national discussion groups focusing on environmental, agronomic or farm business issues and opportunities for the arable industry. They help groups develop extension plans and assist with identifying, developing, and delivering a range of resources and activities to meet growers’ learning needs and encourage on-farm change. This role also includes liaising with FAR staff and growers with regard to FAR’s Southland Research Hub (Knapdale).
We are seeking a suitably qualified person to take on this fixed term 0.5 FTE role from February 2024 until the end of June 2026. The successful candidate will be Southland based and will work from home, using their own vehicle (mileage reimbursed).
