Resources Growers Leading Change

Growers Leading Change was a joint FAR-MPI SFFF project which ran from 2020 to 2023.

Growers Leading Change (GLC) was a FAR knowledge exchange approach that encouraged arable farmers to consider, develop and introduce new ideas, technologies and ways of working. A key focus of GLC was the ability to form and run facilitated discussion groups. These groups, known as Arable Growth Groups (AGGs) provided opportunities for:

  • Growers to share information, experience and expertise to improve the sustainability of their farm businesses, their communities and the arable industry as a whole.
  • Delivering technical information to meet the specific needs of a network of arable discussion groups, trial and demonstration farms.
  • Addressing agronomic, environmental or financial issues or opportunities, and supported by trained facilitators.

Resources developed by and for GLC groups

The first GLC groups met in early 2021, over the period they were in operation, many developed resources and summaries. If you are interested in these resources, you can find a list, with links to open and read, or download them, here.
