This group’s focus is to investigate possible alternative nitrogen sources which may enable cereal growers to maintain profit and contribute to environmental compliance.

In 2022/23 the group ran an on-farm try-out comparing the yields of autumn sown wheat crops treated with a range of conventional and alternative nitrogen products.
