This update provides information on Septoria tritici blotch, stripe and leaf rusts, powdery mildew, Seedling blight, foot and crown rot, ear blight, common eyespot and sharp eyespot.
Septoria remains the most problematic disease of autumn sown wheat, but recent seasons have seen a resurgence of leaf rust. Other common diseases flare up from time to time depending on the season.
