We are pleasesd to announce the support of AGMARDT for our 2015 conference:Future Visions for the Arable Industry, which is being held at the Ashburton Trust Event Centre on Wednesday 22 and Thursday 23 July. From clover to crop rotations, endophytes to environmental issues, grass grub to gluten…all these topics and more are on the programme, and thanks to tremendous support from our sponsors, registration costs are very affordable.

Organiser Anna Heslop says support from key sponosr AGMARDT, along with Gold and Silver sponsors has allowed FAR to bring in four overseas speakers to join those already on board from FAR, CRIs, universties and of course, growers.

“There is somehting for every arable farmer at this conference. We have four sessions focusing on Cereals, Farm systems, Seeds and Potatoes, as well as a Field Trip afternoon and a conference dinner. Between them, these sessions will cover a range of grain, seed and forage crops, issues around water, nutrient and agrichemical management, and also some broader issues facing the industry such as the development of a national biosecurity strategy."

Farm-saved seed royalty system
