Learning Intentions

Students will be able to:

  • understand basic plant growth concepts
  • develop fine motor control
  • name parts: seed, shoot, roots, stem, leaves, seed leaves.

What You Will Need:

  • Photocopied sheets
  • Scissors
  • Colouring pencils or felts.

Hints and tips

  • Photocopy for individual use. Children draw lines from one stage to the next.
  • Work with children to find out which comes next? Why?
  • Talk about what is happening.
  • Cut out the stages and place them in order.
  • Colour the pictures realistically.
