Good management principles for biopesticides

Img 0489

A Lighter Touch have just published a useful resource outlining general principles for good management practices for growers using biopesticides.

New Zealand has a unique opportunity to become the world’s preferred supplier of plant-based food products. Brand, reputation, and provenance of food are now important to consumers and they are willing to pay more for safe food from trusted sources with sound provenance. FAR is a significant co-investor in the ‘A Lighter Touch’ programme, a $27M seven-year programme, which has brought together the plant-based food sector to take advantage of this opportunity by transitioning crop production from an agrichemical to an agroecological approach.
