  • Two Grower Seats On Far Board

Two grower seats on FAR Board

Feature placeholder

Passionate about arable? Consider joining the FAR Board.

FAR is calling for applications for two grower representatives on the FAR Board. The positions, which commence on 1 January 2022, are currently held by Steve Wilkins and Paul Mackintosh; both Steve and Paul are seeking re-election for these two vacancies.

FAR Board members hold their position for a maximum of three terms of three years unless advised otherwise. The selection process is skills based and is managed by the Nominations and Remunerations Committee, which consider the Board's current makeup and what skills or expertise are required at the time selections are made.

FAR no longer has regional representation on the Board, so applications are welcome from growers anywhere in New Zealand.

If you are interested in becoming a FAR Board member, send your application to David Birkett, Chair of the Nominations and Remunerations Committee.

Contact details djbirkett@xtra.co.nz; 027 313 2768

Applications to be received by 12.00 pm, Friday 1 October 2021.
