New Year, New Website

Feature placeholder

Welcome to FAR’s new website, a project that has been months in the making. As you can see, a lot has changed. Our aim has been to make the site easy to navigate and to improve usability, whether you are looking for information about new research or paying levies.

‘Our Research’ now has its own tab found under the menu header. Here you can find details about research projects across a range of crops, as well as information on our research sites, research and extension strategy and research collaborations.

News, media and events can now be found at the bottom of the home page – ‘What’s New’. All the latest information on upcoming events, publications, and media releases can be read here. Events still have their own tab as well.

Women in Arable and Arable Ys have been taken out of the ‘Community’ section of the old website and can now be accessed under the ‘Resources’ tab at the top of the home page. ‘Resources is also the place to go to find monthly weather reports and information on ProductionWise.

This new website is part of a larger project around communication and extension, which includes the launch of FAR social media accounts. A key feature of this new site, is the fact that is mobile compatible, for ease of use and viewing on smart phones and tablets.

We are optimistic that the testing process has ironed out any glitches, but be sure to have a look around and contact us if you find anything that is not working.
