FAR Conference registrations closing soon

Conf snip

The countdown is on to FAR’s 2017 Conference and registrations close on Sunday 11 June.

Growing Sustainable Futures is to be held at Lincoln University on Thursday 29 and Friday 30 June. It will include four research sessions: Future Farming, Farm Systems, Agronomy and Weeds, Pests and Diseases. There will also be an afternoon of environmentally focused field visits and a Conference dinner.

Organiser Anna Heslop says over half the spots have already been taken, and urges people to register soon.

“This year’s venue is slightly small than the one we used for our 2015 event, so if we have the same amount of interest now, some people will miss out. Registration is easy, and can be done entirely on-line. Accommodation is available in the Lincoln University Halls of Residence, and this can also be booked online.”

We are very pleased to confirm two international speakers: Susannah Bolton, Director of Knowledge Exchange (extension) at the AHDB, in the UK and Edmundo Nolan, Board Secretary of AAPRESID, the Argentine No Till Association.
