CROPS 2022

Crops forwebsite

We welcome you to join us at CROPS 2022! Please see the programme below.

We invite you to join us at CROPS 2022 on the 23 November our key South Island field event!

Please take this opportunity to view the FAR trials and industry demonstrations, and hear up-to-date research findings from New Zealand and overseas experts.

International perspective will come from mixed arable and livestock farmer and co-founder of Wildfarmed, Andy Cato from the United Kingdom. He is the first Englishman to be awarded the Chevalier de L’Ordre du Mérite Agricole - the French equivalent of a knighthood for services to agriculture. Andy is on a mission to help facilitate change for farmers by creating a consumer led market for food grown in regenerating landscapes (he’s also a musician and half of the electronic band Groove Armada).

The rest of the programme is broad, touching on sensor technology, growing maize in the South Island, new innovations for seed and cereal, and economic and environmental talks around soil, nutrients and nitrogen management decisions.

Each talk, apart from Andy Cato’s, will be presented in the morning, and again in the afternoon, and the day will conclude with a complimentary dinner.

We look forward to seeing you there.

For queries, please contact the FAR office.
