Tuesday 11 August, 1pm - 3pm, Ongaonga Golf Course
This August, FAR is bringing Jason Deveau and Tom Wolf from Sprayers 101 to New Zealand for a series of workshop style sessions across both islands. This workshop will be focused on drone spraying and will commence 1 hour after the morning workshop.
Drone spraying is increasingly becoming an area of interest but but achieving effective and responsible applications requires an understanding of factors such as droplet size, flight height, operating speed, nozzle selection, coverage, efficacy and drift management. Jason and Tom will share practical insights on how these factors influence spray performance and where drones fit within modern spraying systems.
The workshop will also include representatives from the Ag Drone Association, providing additional industry perspectives on the opportunities, challenges and future direction of agricultural drone application in New Zealand.
A practical demonstration will show how spray coverage, efficacy, and drift are assessed in the field, helping you optimise drone spraying performance and make informed decisions about adoption and use.
There will be lunch in between please register for both Ongaonga workshops if you plan to come for lunch.
Refreshments kindly provided by A Lighter Touch.
