Maize research walk and talk

Thursday 11 December, 2pm-4pm, Tamahere. 

A chance to walk the trials and talk with FAR’s research team at the northern crop research site. Trials walked will be; weed control from different herbicide programmes, crop response to nitrogen application timing, placement and form – do biologicals make a difference?  Plus, a team from Plant and Food will lead you through crop scouting 101.
