Foundation for Arable Research
The Foundation for Arable Research (FAR) is an applied research and information transfer organisation responsible primarily to New Zealand arable growers. Funding comes from: a compulsory levy collected from arable growers; grants; co-operative research and information sales. Every five years growers have the opportunity to vote for the continuance of FAR, and currently FAR has over 80% support – indicating the success of FAR in delivering real benefits.

Registrations now open for FAR's 5th North Island Conference

FAR's 5th North Island Conference will be held at the University of Waikato, Hamilton on the 15th and 16th February 2012. This conference will provide a mix of in‐field and indoor presentations which aim to cover a wide range of topics which are at the forefront of growers' minds. The aim of the conference is to provide a forum where current national and international research can be presented.
