Thank you for your interest in the Foundation for Arable Research (FAR), we are an industry organisation involved in applied research and information transfer, with primary responsibility to New Zealand Arable Growers.

Our focus is on investing and delivering benefits from independent, quality and cost effective research, adding value to the business of arable farming. Assisting farmers to face new challenges and ensuring the survival of this sector as a vibrant primary industry for New Zealand.

Our head office is located in Templeton, near Christchurch, the largest city in the South Island. Our research staff are located both in the South and North Island and are involved in trials throughout the country.
